Biography
An immigrant’s understanding
Ms. Lane grew up in Bavaria, Germany, as the child of guest workers, and earned a business degree from Friedrich-List-Schule in Ulm. After moving to the United States she graduated cum laude from Texas State University in Psychology and German, writing an honors thesis on “The Shaping of Human Personality.”
She earned her J.D. from Michigan State University College of Law with a concentration in international and comparative law, and has practiced since 2005, first in Michigan, then from her principal office in Chicago. She has represented clients in complex state and federal matters, including before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
She handles every matter herself. Clients always know who is working on their case, and they hear from her directly.
